STUDY BASICS

Are you the parent of a child aged 0-17? You may be able to take part in a research study to help better understand parents’ opinions about global warming (also called climate change) and how doctors should talk about global warming with families. The study involves completing one 5-minute online survey.


STUDY PURPOSE

The purpose of this study is to understand parents' opinions about global warming (also called climate change) and to find out how parents think doctors should talk about global warming with families during their child’s routine visits.


COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOUR CHILD?
  • Parent of a child aged 0-17
  • Parent is at least 18 years old
  • Parent is able to read and understand English
  • Parent has an email address and access to an internet-connected device in order to complete the online survey

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT

Parents will complete one 5-minute online survey.

Maya Ragavan

Maya Ragavan, MD, is a general pediatrician and researcher at the University of Pittsburgh/Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is interested in learning more about ways to improve well-child care for children and families. Her research also focuses on supporting families who have experienced stress or trauma.
