Medication Adherence Interview Study

STUDY BASICS

Do you take at least one prescription medication to treat high blood pressure or a heart condition? Are you aged 18-45? You may be able to participate in an online research study to help better understand how people manage their medications at home. Participation involves one online video session that will be recorded. Compensation provided.

STUDY PURPOSE

Taking medications correctly can be a challenge. The purpose of this study is to better understand how people manage their medications at home. Researchers hope their findings lead to better ways to help people take their medications as prescribed.

COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?

• Ages 18-45
• Diagnosed with high blood pressure (hypertension) and/or a heart condition such as heart failure, angina, and arrhythmia
• Take at least one prescription medication to treat your high blood pressure or heart condition
• Have internet access and have a device with video (e.g., computer, tablet, smartphone) at home

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT

Participation involves completing a questionnaire and taking part in one online video interview from your home that will be recorded. During the interview, participants will be asked to identify how they manage their medications and show the location where their medication is stored.
