STUDY BASICS

Are you the parent of a child who is 1 to 5 years old? Is your child insured through Medicaid? You may be able to participate in a research study to help better understand how families make decisions about seeking medical care for children with colds. This study involves a one 1-hour interview conducted by Zoom or by phone. Compensation provided.

STUDY PURPOSE

The common cold is a respiratory illness that can include symptoms such as sore throat, congestion, and runny nose. Although most colds get better without treatment, parents often seek medical care for young children with cold symptoms. The purpose of this study is to better understand how families make decisions about seeking care for children with colds. Researchers hope their findings lead to improved healthcare for children in the future.
