Are you living with impaired mobility, strength, or balance? You may be eligible for a research study to evaluate the usability of a novel vehicle seat transfer aid, The Safer Seat. Compensation is provided.

STUDY PURPOSE

To evaluate the usability of a novel vehicle seat transfer aid, The Safer Seat.

COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?

• Living with impaired mobility, strength, or balance
• 18 years of age or older
• Able to attend an in-person session at Bakery Square in Downtown Pittsburgh

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT

If you are interested in participating in this research study, and qualify, you will be asked to transfer onto and off of a vehicle seat using your typical method of transfer and then to trial transferring onto and off of the vehicle seat suing the Safer Seat.  We will ask you to provide feedback on the usability and usefulness of the Safer Seat using 3 brief questionnaires and via a short interview.
