STUDY BASICS

Do you take buprenorphine (e.g., Suboxone, Subutex, Zubsolv) and have chronic pain? You may be eligible for a research study to that seeks to improve the treatment of chronic pain in people who are taking buprenorphine. This study involves attending weekly (virtual or phone) pain management sessions for 12 week and completing surveys every 3 months for 1 year. Compensation provided.


STUDY PURPOSE

Many people who are currently receiving treatment for opioid use problems have chronic pain. This study seeks to improve the treatment of chronic pain in people who are taking buprenorphine (e.g., Suboxone, Subutex, Zubsolv).


COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Have chronic pain
  • Take buprenorphine (e.g., Suboxone, Subutex, Zubsolv)
  • Receive care at an addiction treatment center

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT
  • Attending weekly (virtual or phone) pain management sessions for 12 weeks
  • Continue taking buprenorphine for 12 weeks
  • Complete surveys every 3 months for 1 year (total of 5 survey visits)
