STUDY BASICS

Are you 18 years of age or older? Are you interested in hearing about research studies being conducted through the Department of Surgery? You may be eligible to participate in the Department of Surgery's research participant registry.

STUDY PURPOSE

The Department of Surgery conducts numerous research studies on a regular basis. As such, a participant registry has been established to maintain the contact information of past participants who may be eligible for and are interested in future studies.

18 years of age or older

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT

There are no research activities associated with the registry. You will be asked to provide contact information and some demographic information which will be stored in the registry. If you meet the eligibility criteria of any future studies, the demographic information you provide the registry will be shared with the study team. A member of the study team will contact you to provide additional information and, if you are interested, enroll you into the new study. You are not obligated to participate in any study.  Declining to participate in any study will not remove you from the registry after you have enrolled.
