STUDY BASICS
Are you a parent of a school-age child (ages 6-12) or adolescent (ages 12-18)? You may be able to participate in a research study to learn about your experiences with your child's diabetes care in school. Compensation is provided.
STUDY PURPOSE
The purpose of this project is to understand how you contribute to health care decisions for your child with diabetes in school. Specifically, we hope to learn more about how you work with school health staff to help make decisions about diabetes care during the school day and how this impacts your child's health, academics, and well-being. We plan to use this information to help create team-based interventions to improve diabetes care in the school, which would rely on collaboration between parents, school health staff, and your child's diabetes medical team.
