Parent and Adolescent Trust in Health Care (Path) Study - Parent of a child 14-18
STUDY BASICS
Are you a parent of a 14–18-year-old? This study is looking for one parent and one child from the same family to participate in a research conversation about their perceptions of the healthcare system and their experiences with trusting healthcare providers and institutions. Participation involves a 90-minute to two hour interview with you and your child independently as well as brief surveys.
STUDY PURPOSE
The primary focus of this study is to understand how families develop and communicate trust in healthcare. The study is interested in learning how parents and adolescents talk about their experiences with doctors, other healthcare professionals, healthcare institutions, and healthcare systems, and how factors such as family background, experiences, and values shape these views.
