STUDY BASICS

Do you experience chronic pain or pain that has occurred every day or nearly every day for three months or more? Are you a student at University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon, Carlow University or La Roche University and have free admission to Phipps Conservatory? You may be able to participate in a research study developing a chronic pain intervention using photography.


COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?
  • Have had pain almost every day for the past three months
  • Are a student at a university offering free admission to Phipps Conservatory (University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon, Carlow University and La Roche University)
  • Are 18 or older
  • Are able to take photographs on a personal device

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT
  • A 2.5-hour visit to Phipps Conservatory
  • One survey and one interview about your physical and mental wellbeing
  • Taking photographs while exploring Phipps Conservatory
