Are you a dentist, primary care physician (PCP), orthopedic surgeon or advanced practice provider in a primary care or orthopedic surgery practice? You may be eligible to participate in a research study to learn what makes it easier or harder for providers and patients to follow guidelines for antibiotic use before dental procedures in people with hip or knee replacements. Compensation provided.

STUDY PURPOSE

The purpose of this study is to learn what makes it easier or harder for providers and patients to follow guidelines for antibiotic use before dental procedures in people with hip or knee replacements.

Are you a general dentist, orthopedic surgeon, primary care physician (PCP), OR advanced practice provider in a primary care or orthopedic surgery practice?

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT

This study consists of one small-group discussion that will be led by a trained moderator on Zoom, an online platform, and will last 1.5 hours. After the focus group, participants will receive a link to a survey to complete. The total time of study participation will be up to 2 hours.
