STRONG Exercise Trial
STUDY BASICS
Are you prescribed tirzepatide for weight loss and willing to delay the start of it for 1-2 weeks? You may be eligible for a research study to examine the effects of resistance exercise, such as weightlifting, on retention of muscle mass and mental health in individuals taking tirzepatide (an obesity medication). Participation involves supervised, personal strength training sessions.
STUDY PURPOSE
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of resistance exercise, such as weightlifting, on retention of muscle mass and mental health in individuals taking tirzepatide (an obesity medication).
