STUDY BASICS
Do you have at least 4, but no more than 12, non-pigmented (flesh-toned) actinic keratosis lesions (“sun spots”) on your face and/or scalp? You may be able to participate in a study that is testing a study drug cream to see how safe and effective it is when compared to a placebo cream. Participation will last 14-20 weeks and will involve up to 5 in-person visits. Compensation is provided.

Laura Korb Ferris, MD, PhD, is Professor of Dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and is also the Director of Clinical Trials for the Department of Dermatology. Dr. Ferris earned her doctorate in immunology from Johns Hopkins University and her medical degree from the University of Maryland.
