STUDY BASICS

Are you 18-35 years old, right handed, a native English speaker, and have no history of head injuries or learning and cognitive disabilities/disorders? If so, you may be eligible to participate in a study to help researchers examine brain activity during reading tasks. Brain activity is measured painlessly from a soft net worn on your head. Involves 1-3 hours of your time. Compensation provided.

Charles Perfetti

Charles Perfetti is Distinguished University Professor of Psychology and Director of the Learning Research & Development Center. His research contributes to the Science of Reading, the study of how humans obtain meaning from written language. His lab uses behavioral and EEG recording methods to study word learning, word reading, and reading comprehension across languages.
