STUDY BASICS

Are you the parent of a healthy child between the ages of 4-9 years old and willing for your child to receive the flu vaccine this fall? Your child may be eligible to participate in a research study to help us understand how people respond to flu vaccines, and to better understand the body’s protective response against flu. Compensation is provided.


STUDY PURPOSE

The purpose of this study is to help us understand how the immune system responds to flu vaccines in children 4 through 9 years of age.

  • Parent of a child age 4-9 years old
  • willing to have your child receive the flu vaccine this fall

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT
  • Completing a brief survey
  • Receiving flu vaccine
  • 2 visits for blood draws and nasal swabs
