Doing Hard Things Research Study - Parent of a 3-5 year old child
STUDY BASICS
Are you the parent of a 3-5 year old child? You and your child may be eligible for a research study to learn more about how children do hard things. Families will complete one 20-30 minute home visit and one 20-30 minute virtual visit where the child will complete some activities. Compensation is provided.
STUDY PURPOSE
The purpose of this research study is to learn more about how children do hard things. In this study, we are interested in how children develop and learn during difficult tasks.

- Your child speaks English
- Live in Pittsburgh
WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT
Families will complete one 20- 30 minute home visit and one 20-30 minute virtual visit where the child will complete some activities. Families must agree for their child to be video recorded.

Rebecca McGregor, MEd, is a PhD student in the Developmental Psychology program at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research focuses on adult-child interactions during early childhood and links to children's academic and social-emotional development.
