STUDY BASICS

Do you work with youth (ages 9 – 16) in a school, hospital, clinic, community organization, or other setting? You may be eligible for a research study to share your insights into what supports the health and well-being of youth in Pittsburgh. If you agree to participate in this study, you will join other community members for a group interview (virtual or in-person). Compensation is provided.


STUDY PURPOSE

Our lab wants to learn more about childrens’ health based on your experiences living in Pittsburgh as part of a large study and understand how it varies across racial backgrounds.


COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?
  • Age 18 or older
  • Work with children and teens (ages 9 – 16) in a school, hospital, clinic, community organization, or other setting 
  • Work in the Pittsburgh Metro Area or surrounding counties

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT

If you agree to participate in this study, you will join other community members for a group interview (or focus group). The focus groups will include conversations regarding child and teen health and the factors and experiences that impact youth health.  In total, the study should take approximately 90 minutes to two hours to complete.
