STUDY BASICS

Have you been the PI or coordinator on at least 1 human subjects study in a health-related discipline through the University of Pittsburgh in the last 5 years? You may be eligible to participate in a research study to understand the experiences, perspectives, and gather recommendations from other Pitt researchers about incorporating non-English speaking communities in research.


STUDY PURPOSE

The purpose of this research study is to understand the experiences, perspectives, and gather recommendations from other University of Pittsburgh researchers about incorporating non-English speaking communities in research. The goal is to identify opportunities for University-level improvement and ways to support individual researchers and study teams.


COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?
  • University of Pittsburgh students, faculty, or staff who have been the principal investigator (PI) or project coordinator on at least one (1) human subjects study in any health-related discipline through the University of Pittsburgh in the last five (5) years.
  • You must supply a Pitt email address in order to receive the gift card for participating in this study.

One survey that will take 15-20 minutes to complete

Maya Ragavan

Maya Ragavan, MD, is a general pediatrician and researcher at the University of Pittsburgh/Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is interested in learning more about ways to improve well-child care for children and families. Her research also focuses on supporting families who have experienced stress or trauma.
