STUDY BASICS
Are you an 18-20 year old man who is expecting a child or already has a child who is up to 3 years old? If so, you may be able to take part in a research study to better understand what kinds of support young fathers and fathers-to-be need in order to succeed and be healthy. Study involves a one-hour interview that can take place in your home or library/community center. Compensation provided.
STUDY PURPOSE
A father’s involvement in his child’s life can have a huge impact on a child’s health and well-being. The purpose of this study is to help researchers learn more about the role that young fathers play in their child’s life and better understand how healthcare workers may affect young fathers’ ideas about parenting. Researchers hope their findings will lead to better ways to support young fathers in the future.

Participation involves one interview that will take up to one hour.
