Community Environmental Health Assessment Survey in Mon Valley

STUDY BASICS

Calling all Mon Valley Residents: Clairton-based, Valley Clean Air Now (VCAN) in partnership with Pitt Public Health, is looking for adult participants for a community research study. This study is interested in learning about the prevalence of various health conditions in the community. Participants will be asked to take a 10-20-minute-long interview or online survey. Compensation provided.

STUDY PURPOSE

The purpose of this research is to investigate the prevalence of chronic health conditions and symptoms commonly associated with environmental pollution.

• Age 18 and older
• Reside in one of the following locations: 
  • Glassport
  • Liberty
  • Lincoln
  • Port Vue
  • Clairton
  • Braddock
  • Duquesne
  • Hazelwood
  • North Braddock
  • West Mifflin

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT

Participants will be asked to take a 10-20-minute-long, in-person or telephone interview or online survey.
