STUDY BASICS
Are you 18-35 years old and have a bipolar disorder diagnosis? You may be able to participate in a study to examine the effects of noninvasive stimulation on brain activity in people with bipolar disorder. This study has 6 visits and involves answering questionnaires, receiving brain stimulation, and having brain activity recorded. Compensation is provided.

Mary Phillips
Mary L. Phillips, MD, is Professor in Psychiatry and Translational Science and Director of the Mood and Brain Laboratory at the University of Pittsburgh. A graduate of the University of Cambridge, Dr. Phillips’ research focuses on the identification of neural correlates that underlie symptoms of specific abnormalities in emotion processing in people with mood disorders.
