STUDY BASICS

Are you 18-29 years old, own a smartphone, and interested in learning techniques to better manage your stress? You may be able to participate in a study to test a two-week smartphone-based training program for stress reduction and well-being. Participation also involves 3 in-person visits, providing blood samples, and several weeks of stress measurement on your phone. Compensation is provided.

Emily Lindsay, PhD is a research professor in Psychology at Pitt. Her research tests how mindfulness training can impact stress and health, and emphasizes the importance of cultivating an accepting attitude toward thoughts, feelings, and sensations.
