Work Limitations in Nurses with Cancer

STUDY BASICS

Are you a nurse that has been diagnosed with cancer? You may be eligible for a research study to understand work experiences among nurses with cancer.

STUDY PURPOSE

The purpose of this research study is to understand work experiences among nurses with cancer. The study results will provide critical information to support nurses with cancer who return to work. 

COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?

• 18 years of age or older
• have a valid registered nursing license
• have been diagnosed with invasive cancer (requiring systemic treatment) in the past 5 years 
• currently work in a clinical nursing position, including managerial positions and clinical staff

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT

Includes a one-time 60-minute survey.  The questionnaire will ask about background (e.g., age, race, years of education), as well as about cancer's impacts on work and quality of life.
