STUDY BASICS

Are you less than 14 weeks pregnant with one baby? You may be able to participate in a study to track blood sugar (glucose) levels in people during pregnancy. Eligible participants are pregnant with only one baby and do not have diabetes. Participation involves 4-5 visits and wearing a continuous glucose monitor for about 10 days. Compensation is provided.

Francesca L. Facco, MD, is Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Facco is a specialist in medical issues that impact the health of pregnant women and their fetuses. Her main focus is research that examines the impact of sleep during pregnancy.
