The SUPPORT Research Study - Teens 14-17

Are you the parent of a teen that is less than 12 weeks pregnant and experiencing periods of time where access to nutritional food is limited or are not always sure where the next meal may come from? They may be eligible for a research study to find out if using a trimester-specific prenatal vitamin verses a generic prenatal vitamin starting in the first trimester of pregnancy will improve health.

Teen Brain Online II - Teen 13-17

Are you the parent of a teen 13-17 that is experiencing low mood? Your teen may be eligible to participate in a research study to develop an experimental task to measure how the teen brain responds to social media. Compensation provided.

Advancing Survey Knowledge–Teenagers (ASK-Teen) - teen 14-17

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking participants ages 14-17 for a research study that aims to learn more about how adolescents' self-control influences certain health behaviors. The study involves a 10-minute eligibility screener call and two 1-hour surveys completed 6 months aparts. Participants will receive compensation for their participation.

Does appearance effect healthcare interactions? This research study wants to learn from previously hospitalized youth and their caregivers about how appearance-based biases shape health care interactions and how youth receive care in the hospital setting. Are you a parent of a child 11-14 living in the Pittsburgh Metro or surrounding counties? You and your child may be eligible for a research study to understand which factors and experiences support or undermine the physical, mental, and behavioral health of youth in our local communities. If you agree to participate in the study, you will be asked to complete 4 surveys over the span of 2 years.

Enhancing Treatment Utilization for Depression and Suicidality in Pediatric Primary Care (ETUDES Center Pediatric Primary Care Study)

Are you the parent of a child 12 to 17 years old that is sad or depressed? You and your child may be eligible for a research study to improve the lives of youth experiencing depression and suicidality and their families. Participation involves you and your child completing questionnaires about mood and feelings, treatment preferences and barriers at five points over a period of one year.
