STUDY BASICS

Are you between 25-35 years old? Are you without any eye, inner ear, or balance problems? You may be eligible to participate in a research study comparing standing balance on different posture testing platforms. Compensation is provided.

STUDY PURPOSE

The NeuroCom SMART EquiTest Computerized Dynamic Posturography (CDP) System is considered the gold standard for assessing balance and posture, especially for persons suffering from dizziness, balance problems, and/or motion sensitivity. The next generation CDP system, the Bertec Balance Advantage CDP/IVR, is now available. This new model has technological updates which may make the two systems slightly different. We want to compare the balance responses on the two systems to see if they are similar or if some of the test conditions cause different responses.
