STUDY BASICS
Are you a health care provider responsible for intimate exams in the United States? You may be eligible for a research study to learn about the use of medical chaperones in intimate exams. Compensation is provided.
STUDY PURPOSE
The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the perception, experience, and needs of patients and health care providers related to the use of medical chaperones in intimate exams. A medical chaperone is an observer present during a patient's intimate exam. An intimate exam is an exam that involves a health care provider touching or observing your genitals, rectum, or breasts.
COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?
Eligible participants are:
- Ages 18 and older
- Health care providers responsible for (and legally permitted to conduct) intimate exams in the United States
WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT
Participants will complete a maximum of 26 questions, depending on how many apply to you. It is anticipated that the questionnaire will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
