STUDY BASICS

How does social bonding impact the choices we make? In this research study, you will be asked to complete a social interaction task with other participants as well as a set of surveys that measure the types of decisions you make, your mood, and how you feel about others. The study takes place at Carnegie Mellon University and should take approximately 1 hour to complete.


STUDY PURPOSE

The purpose of the study is to investigate how the social interactions we have with others affect our thoughts and behaviors towards others.


COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?
  • age 18 and older
  • fluent in communicating in English

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT

As part of this study, you will attend an in-person visit lasting about 1 hour where you will be asked to participate in a social interaction activity with other participants. You will also be asked to complete a variety of tasks that measure the types of decisions you make, your mood, and how you feel about others.
