Stool Harvest and Preparation to Support Donor-derived Fecal Microbiome Transplant (FMT) Clinical Protocols and Preclinical Studies
STUDY BASICS
Are you healthy, and looking to make a difference? Hillman Cancer Center investigators are running clinical trials utilizing healthy donor fecal matter (hd FMT) and are looking for healthy donors. Donors accepted to the study will be asked to produce samples on site at Hillman Cancer Center every two weeks over a 3-month period. Compensation is provided.
STUDY PURPOSE
This study is being done to collect stool samples from healthy donors or experienced an excellent response to PD-1 inhibitors such as nivolumab or pembrolizumab and/or other PD-(L)1 inhibitors. These stool samples will be used to produce an investigational treatment called fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) for use in future studies with other human subjects.
COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?
- Aged 18-70
- BMI between 18.5-30 kg/m2
- No history of chronic illnesses including IBS, inflammatory bowel disease, autoimmune disease, and/or chronic pain syndrome
WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT
- Undergo a brief questionnaire, blood and stool testing to ensure the absence of potentially infectious organisms
- Donors accepted to the study will be asked to produce samples on site at Hillman Cancer Center every two weeks over a 3-month period.
