Understand user preferences and needs for future school buses: Perspectives of school bus drivers

STUDY BASICS

Are you a school bus driver? You may be eligible for a research study to take a one-on-one interview on transportation choices to school and your viewpoints on school buses. The results will give guidance for designing the future mixed fleet of school buses and conducting user evaluations.

STUDY PURPOSE

The purpose of our research study is to investigate students’ expectations on nowadays school buses and look for ideal solutions for the further design of electric school buses.  The results of the experiment will give guidance for designing the future mixed fleet of school buses and conducting user evaluations.

COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?

• 18 years of age or older
• School bus driver
• Willing to have interviews audio-recorded (participants who are unwilling to be audio recorded will be excluded)

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT

A one-on-one interview that will last around 45 - 60 minutes
