Media Use Survey - Caregiver of a 3-6 year old
STUDY BASICS
Are you 18 years of age or older and raising a 3-6-year-old with another caregiver? If so, you would be a good candidate for our media consumption study, which uses a survey to ask you about your child’s media consumption once a month over a six-month period.
STUDY PURPOSE
Children are more immersed in media than ever before. So, it is important for developmental scientists to better understand children’s experiences with media. To help us obtain a more holistic picture of children’s media consumption, we are asking two caregivers to complete a survey that asks questions about their child’s media usage.
COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?
- You are at least 18 years old
- You are the main caregiver of a 3-6-year-old child
- There is another caregiver of that child who is also willing to participate in the study and complete a monthly survey over a six-month period.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT
The survey will ask questions about demographics, digital and print media habits, and media time use. Each caregiver will independently complete the survey once a month over a 6-month period.
