The TRUST TEAM Study
STUDY BASICS
This is a research study to share perspective on organizational trustworthiness as it relates to community-engaged research in an academic setting. The TRUST TEAM Study will be surveying patients/patient advocates, community organizers, and clinicians from across the country and asking them to complete a questionnaire and a follow-up survey about 30 days later. Compensation is provided.
STUDY PURPOSE
The purpose of this research study is to develop a scale that measures community partners’ views on how trustworthy they believe the academic institutions they engage with are, as it relates to community-engaged research.
COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?
- legal adult
- patients/patient advocates, representatives of community-based or advocacy organizations, and clinicians who have been collaborators (e.g., community advisory board members, members of patient research networks, community advisors/consultants, have supported things like recruiting participants from their clinics or community organizations, and so on)
WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT
Participants will be asked to complete a questionnaire that should take no longer than 45 minutes and a follow-up survey about 30-days later that should take no longer than 15 minutes.
