Using Plants and Photography to Reduce Chronic Pain
STUDY BASICS
Do you experience chronic pain or pain that has occurred every day or nearly every day for three months or more? Are you a student at University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon, Carlow University or La Roche University and have free admission to Phipps Conservatory? You may be able to participate in a research study developing a chronic pain intervention using photography.
COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?
- Have had pain almost every day for the past three months
- Are a student at a university offering free admission to Phipps Conservatory (University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon, Carlow University and La Roche University)
- Are 18 or older
- Are able to take photographs on a personal device
WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT
- A 2.5-hour visit to Phipps Conservatory
- One survey and one interview about your physical and mental wellbeing
- Taking photographs while exploring Phipps Conservatory
