STUDY BASICS

Are you the parent of a child 5-12 years of age who is defiant or oppositional? If so, you and your child may be able to participate in a research study to find out if adding a smartphone app to existing therapy can help parents and children learn skills that may improve childhood behavior problems. Compensation is provided.

STUDY PURPOSE
Some children experience frequent and persistent defiance and oppositional behavior. The purpose of this study is to help researchers find out if adding a smartphone app to existing therapy can assist parents and children with learning skills to aid them in coping better with these types of behavior problems. Researchers hope their findings will lead to improved treatments for childhood behavior problems.
