Optimization of MRI Techniques for 3T and 7T Imaging
STUDY BASICS
Are you 18 years of age or older and willing and able to complete Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanning? You may be eligible for a research study looking at customizing coil development, which will aid in future MRI studies. Compensation provided.
STUDY PURPOSE
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a noninvasive technique for visualizing many different body tissues. Unlike x-rays, MRI does not use any radiation. Instead, it uses radio waves, a large magnet, and a computer to create images. MR imaging is an ideal tool because it gives the best picture without using radiation to show how well various parts of the body are functioning. The image data obtained from this study will be used to enhance knowledge and development of MR imaging diagnostic tools. If successful, this study will expand the clinical knowledge used for current and future MRI studies.
