STUDY BASICS

Do you currently have problems with sleep and stress? You may be eligible for a research study to discuss designing a mental health treatment to address these problems specifically for women. Participation includes attending a single 90-minute virtual focus group or interview to discuss designing treatments for sleep and stress problems for women and completing questionnaires.


STUDY PURPOSE

This study is interested in hearing from women who suffer from sleep and traumatic stress problems for a one-time focus group to discuss designing a mental health treatment to address these problems specifically for women.  Feedback will be integrated into the design of the treatment for a bigger study on whether the treatment works or not, and its effect on heart health. 


COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?
  • Women ages 18 to 65
  • Those with current sleep and stress problems
  • Not pregnant
  • No history of cardiovascular events
  • Not a shift worker

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT
