STUDY BASICS
This research study explores the health care experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) adults with endometriosis. Participation involves a onetime 30-60-minute Zoom interview. Compensation is provided.
STUDY PURPOSE
This study aims to explore how assigned female at birth (AFAB) lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) adults with endometriosis seek medical care and interact with healthcare providers through semi-structured interviews.
COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?
- Age 18 or older
- Are assigned female at birth (AFAB)
- Identify a member of the LGBTQ community
- Have endometriosis (confirmed by surgical procedure or suspected by your doctor)
WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT
Participation involves an interview on Zoom. The interview is expected to take 30-60 minutes and will be audio recorded.
