About Women's Health

The majority of research studies in Pitt+Me are open to all genders—after all, it’s important to make sure that drugs, devices, and other interventions work for everyone. But in some cases, researchers focus specifically on women’s health issues such as female birth control, menopause, menstruation, and certain types of cancer. Other studies in this category may focus on conditions that are more common in women such as urinary incontinence or eating disorders.
