STUDY BASICS

Are you pregnant? Have you experienced stress in the past year? You may be eligible for a University of Pittsburgh research study that aims to understand how pregnant people overcome stress to promote well-being! Compensation is provided.


STUDY PURPOSE

The purpose of the ASPiRE Study is to investigate how pregnant people overcome stress. This study will also examine how physiology relates to stress, emotions, and well-being during pregnancy.


COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?
  • 18 years of age or older 
  • 20-30 weeks pregnant
  • living in the greater Pittsburgh region

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT

The ASPiRE Study includes one visit in our office, a 7-day assessment of heart rate, and a virtual focus group about your experiences during pregnancy.
