Assessing patient perceptions and understandings of genetic testing after miscarriage

Have you experienced pregnancy loss? You may be eligible to participate in a research study to help us understand patient views and feelings about genetic testing after miscarriage.
STUDY PURPOSE
We are currently recruiting research participants for a study regarding patient perceptions and understandings of genetic testing after pregnancy loss. This brief survey is designed to help healthcare professionals better understand how individuals feel about genetic testing after a miscarriage, what they believe genetic testing can uncover about causes of miscarriage and why genetic testing was done or not done following a pregnancy loss.
COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?
Eligible participants:
- Are 18 and older
- Are people who have carried at least one pregnancy that resulted in a miscarriage (in the U.S.)
- Are reproductive partners of people who carried at least one pregnancy that resulted in a miscarriage (in the U.S.)
- Do NOT need to have done genetic testing
WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT
This study involves an anonymous 10-15 minute survey. At the end of the survey, we include a list of support groups and informational resources that participants may find helpful.
