STUDY BASICS

Do you have a child 12-17 years old? Does your child have toenail fungus? Your child may be eligible to join a clinical research study exploring a potential treatment option for toenail fungus. Compensation provided.


STUDY PURPOSE

The purpose of this study is to test an investigational medication for people with toe nail fungus.  This study is to look at whether the study drug works for people with mild to moderate toe nail fungus and how safe the study drug is.
 


COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOUR CHILD?
  • Have a child 12 to 17 years old
  • Your child has at least one big toe that has toenail fungus

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT

This study has 3 main periods:
1. Screening period (up to 8 weeks)
2. Study treatment period (up to 48 weeks)
3. Follow-up period (up to 4 weeks)

Laura Ferris

Laura Korb Ferris, MD, PhD, is Professor of Dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and is also the Director of Clinical Trials for the Department of Dermatology. Dr. Ferris earned her doctorate in immunology from Johns Hopkins University and her medical degree from the University of Maryland.
