STUDY BASICS
Has your child been diagnosed with cancer between the ages of 12-17? Your child may be eligible for a research study to look at how adolescents and young adults with cancer self-advocate or stand up for themselves.
STUDY PURPOSE
We are collecting information to understand how adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with cancer stand up for themselves. We call a person’s ability to stand up for their own values and beliefs “self-advocacy.” We will use your feedback to design programs to help AYA patients with cancer advocate for themselves.
