STUDY BASICS

Are you less than 37 weeks pregnant? Do you ever worry that your food will run out, or do you run out of food and not have money to get more? You may be eligible for a research study to better understand the experience of food insecurity during pregnancy. Compensation is provided.


STUDY PURPOSE

The purpose of the AMPLiFY study is to identify features of food insecurity during pregnancy and develop questions to measure food insecurity during pregnancy. 


COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?

Eligible participants:

  • Are 18 years old or older 
  • Are less than 37 weeks pregnant 
  • Are experiencing food insecurity during pregnancy

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT

Participants will complete 1 one-on-one interview (online or in-person) and will complete online surveys that ask about food insecurity, eating, mood, discrimination, and demographic characteristics. In total, research participation will take about 1.5-2 hours.
