STUDY BASICS

Do you have epilepsy? You may be eligible for a research study to share thoughts about how doctors could better talk about reproductive health with young people who have epilepsy and their parents or caregivers. The research study will involve an interview on Zoom that lasts up to 60 minutes. Compensation is provided.


STUDY PURPOSE

The purpose of this study to understand how doctors can better share reproductive health information with young people who have epilepsy and their parents or caregivers.

A female person with epilepsy ages 18-22 years old

Laura Kirkpatrick, MD, is a resident at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. A graduate of the University of Chicago and Georgetown University, Dr. Kirkpatrick’s research focuses on pediatric neurology and reproductive healthcare for young people.
