CURRENT STUDIES THAT MAY INTEREST YOU


DO IT! Study

Are you the parent of a child 10-17 year of age? Have you been told that your overweight/obese child has high cholesterol levels? If so, your child may be eligible to participate in a study to help researchers find out if a medicine used to lower cholesterol can improve artery health in children. Participation will involve your child taking a pill once per day for 2 years. Compensation provided.

Age Range
AGE:   10 - 17

Duration DURATION:  2 years
VISITS:  A screening visit and 9 study visits

Location LOCATION:  Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC
