Do you have very heavy periods? You may be eligible to receive an intrauterine device (IUD) as part of the LIBRA study. The study is looking to evaluate the effectiveness of a levonorgestrel IUD as a treatment for heavy menstrual bleeding. The study involves up to 9 scheduled visits and 1 phone call over 10 months. Compensation is provided.
Interested in sharing your story about health, illness, or research? Patients and caregivers are needed to participate in a research study to help learn more about topics that are important to you and that may improve health and health care. Participation involves one 45-minute session that takes place over the phone. Eligible participants must be able to read and understand English.
Do you need emergency contraception for an unprotected sex act that occurred in the past 72 hours? Are you a woman aged 18-40 who weighs 176 pounds or more? If so, you may be able to participate in a research study to learn more about the effectiveness of three different doses of emergency contraception. Participants will be compensated.
