Motor Learning Study – Ages 65+
STUDY BASICS
Healthy men and women ages 65 years or older are needed to participate in a noninvasive study to record muscle activity and movements while standing, walking on the floor, and walking on a treadmill. This study requires up to 4 visits lasting 2-5 hours each. Compensation is provided.
STUDY PURPOSE
This research is being done to help learn how we control walking and balance, how new walking patterns are learned, and how walking and balance are altered when parts of the brain are damaged or removed.

Aged 65 and older
WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT
- Participants will have up to four visits, each lasting 2 to 5 hours.
- During these visits you will be walking on the treadmill and/or over ground.
- May undergo a 30 mins to 1 hour MRI scan
