Barrier and Facilitators to Rural Goals of Care Conversations - Ages 65+ with memory problems

STUDY BASICS

Do you have memory problems? You may be eligible to participate in a research study to understand your views about communication between clinicians and rural hospitalized older adult patients. This study wants to use what is learned in these interviews to guide future projects to improve these conversations. The interview should take less than one hour to complete. Compensation provided.

This study wants to find out what makes it harder or easier to talk about care goals with older adults in rural communities. This study wants to use what is learned  to guide future projects to improve these conversations.

• age 65 or older
• diagnosed with dementia

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT
