STUDY BASICS
Are you living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias? You may be eligible for a research study to review an instrument designed to match apps to the needs and abilities of those living with dementia. Participants will be asked to attend one in-person session where they will complete a series of usability questionnaires, and participate in a focus group. Compensation is provided.
STUDY PURPOSE
This study aims to assess the usability of the Health App Review Tool (HART), an evidence-based tool that evaluates app features, then matches these features to the needs, abilities, and preferences of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) or their caregivers. This novel tool is not an app, in and of its-self, but rather an assessment tool used to determine how well suited an app is for a member of the ADRD or caregiver population.
