STUDY BASICS

Have you been diagnosed with a concussion in the past 7 days? Are you 18-45 years old and are not currently on birth control? You may be eligible for a research study to evaluate how injury affects women’s menstrual cycles and sexuality. Compensation provided.


STUDY PURPOSE

The purpose of this research study is to evaluate how injury affects women’s menstrual cycles and sexuality. Injury in women is very understudied, and the effects of injury on women’s reproduction and sexuality is even more so. The study will be looking to see if injured women have any changes in their reproductive and sexual health after being injured.


COULD THIS STUDY BE RIGHT FOR YOU?
  • 18-45 years old
  • Had a concussion in the past 7 days
  • Not currently on birth control

WHAT PARTICIPANTS CAN EXPECT

You will be asked to complete 3 study visits.

  • Visit one will occur approximately 7 days post-injury.
  • Visit two will occur 30 days post-injury.
  • Visit 3 will occur 90 days post-injury.
