Are you 60 or older? Do you live alone or are you experiencing feelings of loneliness? You may be eligible for a research study to better understand the relationship between social isolation/loneliness and psychological wellbeing over time among older adults. Compensation is provided.
STUDY PURPOSE
The purpose of this research study is to examine social isolation/loneliness and wellbeing over time among older adults. This study wants to understand the impact of the relationships between on older and younger generations on social isolation/loneliness.

Joseph Kazan
Joseph Kazan, MD is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the Psychiatry Department. He earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut School of Medicine after which he joined the T32 Geriatric Psychiatry Research Program at the University of Pittsburgh. His research focuses on late-life depression and anxiety disorder. He is also interested in social isolation and loneliness in older adults.
